The Esports World Cup 2026 started in Paris
The Esports World Cup 2026 officially opened on July 6, which will last until August 23. The large-scale festival will feature more than 2,000 players from 200 clubs in 24 disciplines.
The first games on Valorant (prize pool is $2 million) have already brought the results: NRG left group B, defeating Karmine Corp in the decisive match with a score of 2:1, despite the fierce support of French fans. The main event of August will be a tournament on Counter-Strike 2 (August 12 – 23) for 32 teams with a similar prize pool.
